Suranjan Ghosh

Chief Operating Officer

Nationality: Indian

Appointed to the Group: February 2025

Skills and experience: Suranjan has deep operations experience spanning manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, capital investment, quality, SHE and operational excellence. Prior to joining Victrex in 2025, Suranjan held Operations Director roles at Thalia Waste Management, the Thermal Products Division of Morgan Advanced Materials plc and Johnson Matthey Plc, where he spent 18 years, initially as Plant Technical Manager. He has also held Board-level roles for the CIRIA India Limited joint venture and the ECFIA industry forum.

Suranjan has a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, and an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, UK.
