Whilst our sustainability credentials are strong, through lighter materials which can support CO2 savings, we have an impact on the environment through the resources that we use to make our products and the processes that we operate.
This is where resource efficiency comes in. We focus on controlling these impacts and are committed to continual improvement. Our priorities remain the efficient use of energy, water and waste minimisation and we are proactively delivering continual improvement to address these areas. We are validated to SBTi, the science based targets initiative, as evidence of our commitment in this area, with alignment to a 2050 net zero goal across all scopes (validated in May 2024).
Despite medium and long term targets, our Continuous Improvement (CI) activities also support shorter term carbon reductions through process efficiency or adapting our manufacturing.
