Skills and experience: Vivienne brings over 40 years of executive and non-executive experience, with a particular focus on sustainability, innovation and alternative energy. She held senior roles at bp plc and has served on boards including Eurotunnel plc, BG Group plc, Rio Tinto plc, Pearson plc, GSK and Stena AB in Sweden and was chair of Vallourec SA and Climate Change Capital and the Rosalind Franklin Institute. Vivienne was honoured with a CBE in 2016 and a DBE in 2022 for her contributions to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion. Vivienne holds a MA (Oxon) in Chemistry, an MBA from INSEAD, and honorary doctorates from Hull and Hertfordshire.
