We are currently seeking to recruit a Shift Process Operator to be responsible for the day to day operation of the Plant maintaining the requisite SHE and Quality Standards.
The Shift Process Operator will be responsible for identifying faults and problems as they arise, providing solutions where they are able or otherwise raising the issue with the Shift Team Leader (STL) and assisting as necessary. Dependent on production requirements and planned maintenance outages, they will also be responsible for safely shutting down, clearing out and restarting the plant assets, according to well defined schedules and pre-prepared plans.
The successful candidate will be able to display a systematic and logical approach to work, as well as good communication skills and the ability to work enthusiastically as part of a close team. A high level of attention to detail and being quality conscious is essential in the role as the Shift Process Operator will play a vital role in maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ideally candidates will have experience of working within a chemical manufacturing environment along with good Safety, Heath and Environmental awareness. Basic mechanical skills and the operation of a fork lift truck are essential in this role.
