We are looking to appoint an IT Support Engineer to join an innovative and dynamic IT Team supporting an international business based in Thornton Cleveleys with offices UK, Germany, USA, Japan, China, South Korea
As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be responding to technical IT issues across Victrex with a particular focus on our manufacturing environment. Working with both internal and external teams to ensure issue resolution and problem management, you’ll be part of an IT Service Desk which supports our global operations 24x7x365.
A background in technical service desk environments, within an ITIL framework, is a must. You must be able to manage your own workload, and work within a global team spread across multiple timezones. Technically, you’ll have significant experience with virtualization infrastructure, networking, storage and security all within a 24×7 manufacturing environment. Any exposure to Microsoft Azure, Office365 and SaaS solutions would be beneficial.
