We are looking to appoint a part qualified/qualified European Patent Attorney to join our growing IP department.
Reporting to the Head of Intellectual Property, the Attorney will be a key player in the delivery of the Company’s IP strategy. Therefore, drive, enthusiasm and excellent commercial acumen are essential to being successful in this role.
The role requires a high degree of autonomy and you will be expected to educate, advise and support leadership teams and project managers in your areas of the business. You should have some experience across all aspects of IP, including freedom to operate, patent prosecution, drafting, and contentious matters. Experience in the negotiation of IP related agreements would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are critical in order to succeed in this challenging and varied role. In-house industrial experience would be advantageous but is not essential as you will be joining a collaborative and supportive IP team.
