JOB ROLE

Ensuring that appropriate Control System Engineering requirements and standards are defined
and implemented to ensure continuously improving targets for output, availability and costs,
whilst ensuring delivery of legislative compliance and SHE performance required from Lower Tier
COMAH installations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will maintain the control hardware and software for the DCS and SCADA systems
across the Hillhouse production assets to maintain system availability to meet the needs of the
production facilities.

Design and implement software changes, whilst complying with site and legislative standards
Scientifically Investigate and identify root causes of plant failures and, where appropriate,
develop and implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence as part of a change control
procedural system.

Provide Control system technical expertise to Capital project, Production, Engineering and
Investigation teams.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have Knowledge and relevant engineering experience of working
with Control systems, in the chemical industry including motor control systems.
You will have sound analytical and numeracy skills and working knowledge of current Control
System legislation and codes of practice.

Adding to the above you will possess an intimate and thorough working knowledge of the plant
processes that are controlled by the respective control systems
