We currently have exciting Apprenticeship opportunities across our business. These are available in our Operations and Engineering departments. Following successful completion of the scheme, you will be in a permanent role in either our Engineering or Operations teams.

Opportunities are available at our Rotherham site.

What will I be doing?

Our Operations and Engineering scheme is a 4 year programme with the first year being delivered at a specialist training facility. You will learn basic engineering and craft skills, giving you a great foundation to progress. You will then join us on site, based within our training team where you will undertake more formal in-house training for the next three years with our Operations or Engineering teams. You will then specialise in a particular field of either Operations or Engineering with the opportunity to complete some additional formal qualifications in your chosen area.

Typically, following this scheme you will be in either a Maintenance Tradesperson or Process Operator role.

What qualifications will I get?

You will work towards a qualification within your chosen area whilst gaining on the job experience. Specific information regarding the available programmes can be found here.

Many of our apprentices go on to do further qualifications, continuing to develop their careers with us.

What are we looking for?

Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, to include Maths, English and Science, or have progressed to A Level in similar subjects. You should enjoy problem solving as well as having a passion for business and administration. We are looking for people who work well in a team, have attention to detail and can demonstrate innovative thinking.
